The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.Deuteronomy 7:6
A Prized Possession
Hello everyone, good morning! God’s creation is filled with magnificent scenes and things. Imagine you're being picked from a huge crowd - not because you're the strongest or smartest, but because someone treasures you deeply. That's what God reminds in today's word from Deuteronomy 7:6. In this scripture, He chose Israel as His holy, special people, set apart like a precious jewel. Today, this promise is for us too. “Through Jesus”, we're God's treasured possession. Not by our goodness, but by His love. He picks us to live differently - to love others, serve with joy, and shine His light. So don’t go around feeling wrong about yourself. Quit letting your thoughts wishing you were taller, or had a better personality, or wishing to look like somebody else. Put your shoulders back and know that God created you in His own image. Walk tall knowing you're chosen and you are extremely valuable. Let it change from deep within on how we treasure and treat everyone - our spouse, family, work, or neighbors. You're holy to Him - live like it! Prayer Father God, thank You for choosing us as Your treasured people. I believe that I am made in Your image and have Your approval. Help us to live holy lives that honor You. Fill me with Your grace today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
